Your First 14 Days on Native Ads
The first two weeks are for reading the funnel. Purchases may not be there yet. Do not kill the test, or scale it, on a mood.

The campaign is on. The useful work now is reading, not rebuilding.
You launched one angle, one article, and a tracking setup you already watched fire. If that is not true, this page will not save the test. Go back to Launch Your First Native Campaign and Track Native Ads the Right Way.
What "working" means before a purchase
A purchase is the point. It is often not the first signal. In the first two weeks you can still see whether the path is alive:
- People click the ad and land on the article
- A share of them reach the product page
- A share of those add to cart, if you track that
- Orders, when they exist, show up in the shop and in the platform, and you know which one you believe
Write those four as a funnel on a single note, with the date. Update it on a schedule you choose in advance. Once a day is enough. Once an hour will make you edit the campaign out of nerves.
If the top of the funnel is empty, the headline or the inventory is the question. If people read and never reach the product, the article is the question. If they reach the product and never buy, the product page or the offer is the question. You cannot see that split if you only stare at spend.
A longer version of the early timeline is how long native tests take. The habit of what to change, and what to leave, is the testing framework.
A simple rhythm
Pick three looks in the 14 days, and put them on a calendar.
Day 1. Confirm the mechanical facts. The ad points at your article. The country and device match the store. Placements you meant to block are blocked. A click still shows up in tracking. If any of those failed, fix that and restart the clock in your note. Do not "optimize" a broken pipe.
Around day 3. Read the funnel, not a verdict. Which headline is getting the click, and does that click reach the product? Kill a headline that gets clicks and then dies on the first screen, if you have enough clicks to see the pattern. Leave the article alone if the only evidence is a feeling.
Around day 10 to 14. Look again, with the shop as referee. You may have orders. You may not. Ask which step improved, which step is stuck, and whether you changed too many things to know why. One change at a time is the rule from here on. How to optimize a Taboola campaign is the same idea on that network.
Write the decision in a sentence. "Keep, because the article-to-product rate is the part that is moving." Or "Stop this headline, because the click never reaches the product." A sentence you cannot write is a decision you are not ready to make.
What not to do in the first two weeks
Do not add a second product. Do not rewrite the article every morning. Do not open a second network because the first one feels slow. Do not scale. Scaling is the next step, and only after something is actually winning: How to Scale a Winning Native Ad.
Do not declare the channel dead because day two was quiet. Quiet can mean the bid, the inventory, the headline, or a tracking hole. Those are different problems. A diagnosis when nothing converts is the checklist when the funnel is zero all the way down, especially if push traffic snuck in.
Do not declare it a winner because one order felt good. One order is a story. The funnel, repeated, is a test.
Keep a kill rule you wrote in advance
Before the two weeks are up, write what would make you stop a headline or the whole campaign. Use your own funnel, in words: "If clicks reach the article and almost nobody reaches the product after a real read, the article is wrong." Make it specific to the path you built.
The reason to write it early is that mid-test you will want to move the line. The line you wrote on day zero is the one that protects the test from your mood.
If you stop something, stop one thing, and write what you expect the next look to show. Then wait for that look.
Hand the winner forward
At the end of 14 days you want a note, not a vibe. What you ran. What you turned off. Which step of the funnel moved. Whether the shop agrees with the platform. What you will not change next.
If nothing is ready to scale, that is a result. Go back to the step that failed: the product, the article, the inventory, or the tracking. Do not skip ahead to "spend more" as a cure.
If something is clearly the winner, the next page is the scale step, and it is still not "double the budget and hope."

FAQ
What if I have no sales after 14 days?
Read the funnel before you read the verdict. No sales with a healthy path to the product is a different problem from no sales because nobody reached the product. Fix the stuck step. Do not restart the whole channel because the last number is zero.
Should I change the bid every day?
No. Daily bid edits pile on top of daily article edits, and then you cannot see what helped. Pick a schedule. Change one thing. Wait for the next look you already put on the calendar.
Is 14 days enough to know if native works for my store?
It is enough to know whether this angle, this page, and this inventory are worth continuing. It is not a final word on the channel, and it is not a promise that the test is profitable by day 14. Profit takes longer than a first read. The 14 days are there so you are not guessing while you wait.
